Horticultural Fleece (Frost-cloth to use its common name ) is a spun-bonded polyethylene fabric.

• It is UV stabilised to ensure durability of the fabric during the growing season.
• Horticultural Fleece is a ‘floating’ crop cover that provides gentle protection for your crops.
• It promotes natural, undisturbed growth, and creates a microclimate under which plants
  and seedlings thrive, whilst acting as an insect barrier.
• Horticultural Fleece will mitigate the effects of frost, allow rain to penetrate, and regulate
  the growing temperature — overall creating physiologically improved growing conditions.

Selecting the right fleece product:
Based on past experience, NetPro recommends 30g/m2 as sufficient for most applications. However, crop type, climatic conditions and site aspect are factors that should be considered.

The 50g/m2 is available in the larger roll quantities for more intensive applications.

It is important to note that Horticultural Fleece can suffer physical deterioration caused by birds, rabbits, or wind and is only recommended for use over one season. This practice will also help prevent the transfer of disease, insect larva etc, to the next growing season.
